Ryan has over 10 years professional experience in technical theatre and is a multi-skilled Technical and Production Manager, who has a background in lighting technical and design work. His current aptitude is the evolution and development of existing space both in terms of building wide services and facilities, as well as technical specifications and abilities.

 

He is currently Head of Technical & Facilities at Wilton’s Music Hall, and whilst being sensitive to its listed and heritage status, has been involved with various development projects whilst there including; new stage rigging and lifting systems, power distribution and dimming infrastructure overhaul, workshop space design and build, as well as new sound systems and acoustic treatment work. 

 

Alongside managing the day to day running of the technical department at Wilton’s, he is also an experienced freelance Production Manager, having worked with companies and clients including; The Royal & Derngate Northampton, Paines Plough, The Kiln, Hampton Court Palace, Smart Entertainment, DHP, The Faction & The Playground Theatre.
